Last updated: October 2025
FoxID (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is a product developed and operated by IDV Pacific Pty Ltd (ACN: 601516367). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information in connection with FoxID, our AI-enhanced OCR platform for identity document verification.
FoxID inherits IDV Pacific’s broader privacy standards, available at idvpacific.com.au/privacy-policy, and complies with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
1. Commitment to Privacy
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting personal information. FoxID is designed with privacy-first principles, including no persistent storage of personally identifiable information (PII) unless explicitly required by a client integration.
Our platform applies strict encryption, secure transmission, and local data processing controls, ensuring compliance with Australian data protection standards.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on how FoxID is deployed (cloud, on-premise, or white-label), the following types of information may be processed:
-
Identity Document Data: Names, addresses, dates of birth, document numbers, expiry dates.
-
Biometric Features (optional): Facial or signature data for verification workflows.
-
Metadata: Device type, image quality parameters, processing timestamps.
-
Change-of-Address Labels: Where applicable, detected and processed as part of OCR.
Note: FoxID does not permanently store PII unless required under client-specific regulatory obligations. By default, PII is processed in-memory and discarded after extraction.
3. How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information strictly for:
-
Verification of Identity (VOI) checks.
-
Data extraction and document validation.
-
Fraud detection and anomaly analysis (e.g., detecting tampering).

Integration with client workflows (e.g., onboarding, KYC, compliance).
-
Regulatory compliance under services such as DVS, VEVO, or IDMatch.
We do not use FoxID-collected data for marketing purposes.
4. Disclosure of Information
We only disclose information:
-
To authorised clients and partners, as part of contracted services.
-
To regulatory authorities, where legally required.
-
To trusted service providers supporting our secure infrastructure.
We do not sell or trade personal information.
5. Data Security & Storage
FoxID is built for high-security environments:
-
AES-256 encryption for data at rest and in transit.
-
Segregated processing to minimise exposure of PII.
-
No default cloud storage of identity data.
-
On-premise and sovereign-cloud deployment options for sensitive industries.
6. Your Rights
Under the Privacy Act, you may:

Request access to personal information processed by FoxID (via our client).

Lodge a complaint if you believe your privacy has been breached.
Requests should be directed to the organisation that engaged FoxID for your identity verification, or to IDV Pacific directly.
7. International Data Transfers
FoxID is designed and hosted in Australia-first environments. If international processing occurs, it will comply with cross-border disclosure obligations under the APPs and equivalent protections in the destination country.
